Function

add mapping_view port_group command is used to add a port group to a mapping view.

port_group_id=? Port group ID.

To obtain the value, run "show host_group general".

Usage Guidelines

A port group can be added to a maximum of 64 mapping views.

Example

Add port group "0" to mapping view "1".

admin:/>add mapping_view port_group mapping_view_id=1 port_group_id=0
WARNING: You are about to add the port group to the mapping view. This operation will prevent the hosts in the mapping view from accessing LUNs in the mapping view.
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the selected mapping view and port group are correct. If the ports connecting the hosts to the device in the mapping view do not belong to the port group, stop host services running on the LUNs in the mapping view.
