The delete hypervault general command is used to delete the HyperVault function.


delete hypervault general hypervault_id=? [ is_local_delete=? ] [ reserve_copy=? ]





hypervault_id=? ID of the HyperVault object.

To obtain the value, run the "show hypervault general" command without parameters.

is_local_delete=? Whether a remote replication task can be locally deleted when the link is down.

The value can be:

  • "yes": The hypervault task can be locally deleted.
  • "no": The hypervault task cannot be locally deleted.
The default value is "no".
reserve_copy=? Copy reserving policy.

The value is "yes" or "no", where:

  • "yes": to reserve copies.
  • "no": to delete copies.
The default value is "yes".



Usage Guidelines



To delete hypervault task "9747215445131264", run the following command.

admin:/>delete hypervault general hypervault_id=9747215445131264
DANGER: You are about to delete HyperVault.
This operation deletes the HyperVault function from a file system, including the local backup and remote backup functions of the file system. New data written into the primary file system is not backed up. Data of the file system copies on the secondary file system cannot be recovered in the primary system. The deletion cannot be undone.
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that you have selected the correct HyperVault object to delete.
