Shortcut Keys

Use command line interface (CLI) shortcut keys for improved operation efficiency.

CLI shortcut keys are categorized as the following types: movement control, deletion control, and screen scrolling control. The Table 1-5 lists the function of each shortcut key.

Movement Control

Inserts a previously executed command line.

Inserts a subsequently executed command line.

Moves the cursor left one character.

Moves the cursor right one character.

Ctrl+←

Moves the cursor left one segment.

Ctrl+→

Moves the cursor right one segment.

Ctrl+S

Moves the cursor to the start of the operating command line.

Ctrl+E

Moves the cursor to the end of the operating command line.

Deletion Control

Ctrl+C

Hops to the next line.

Ctrl+D

Delete the character selected by the cursor.

Ctrl+K

Delete all the characters to the right of the cursor, including the character selected by the cursor.

Backspace

Deletes the character to the left of the cursor.

Screen Scrolling Control

Enter

Moves the cursor down one line.

Space

Scrolls to the next screen.

G

Scrolls to the final screen.
