change cache_partition general

Function

change cache_partition general command is used to modify the properties of a cache partition, including the partition name, desired cache read capacity, and desired cache write capacity.

Format

change cache_partition general cache_partition_id=? { name=? | expect_read_size=? | expect_write_size=? }

cache_partition_id=? ID of a cache partition whose properties you want to modify.

To obtain the value, run "show cache_partition general".

name=? New name of a cache partition.

The value contains 1 to 31 characters including digits, letters, hyphens (-), underscores (_), and periods (.).

expect_read_size=? Updated cache read capacity.

The value is an integer multiple of 128, ranging from 256 to 67,108,864, expressed in MB.

expect_write_size=? Updated cache write capacity.

The value is an integer multiple of 128, ranging from 256 to 67,108,864, expressed in MB.

Example

Set the name, desired cache read capacity, and desired cache write capacity of cache partition "0" to "regina", "512MB", and "512MB" respectively.

CAUTION: You are about to change the read partition size or write paritition size of SmartPartition. 
This operation may affect the performance of LUN or file system.
