Modifying a Triggering Policy

The SmartQoS triggering mode can accommodate to changing service requirements.


  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose Provisioning > Resource Performance Tuning > SmartQoS > Traffic Control.
  3. Select the traffic control policy you want to modify and click Properties.

    The Traffic Control Policy Properties dialog box is displayed.

  4. Modify the triggering mode of the traffic control policy.
    1. In the Traffic Control Policy Properties dialog box, click the Triggering Policy tab.
    2. In the Started Date text box, set a new date on which the policy takes effect.
    3. In the Execution Period area, set a new frequency for the policy to be executed.
    4. In the Execution Time area, change Started Time and Duration.
  5. Confirm the modification of the triggering mode.
    1. Click OK.

      The Execution Result message box is displayed, indicating that the operation succeeded.

    2. Click Close.
