Removing a microSD Card

This section describes the precautions and procedure for removing a microSD card from a CH225 V3.

Scenarios

Remove a microSD card in either of the following scenarios:

  • The microSD card is faulty.
  • The microSD card needs to be replaced with a newer model.
NOTE:

For details about how to erase data from a microSD card, see Erasing Storage Media Data.

Figure 8-74 shows the numbering and positions of the microSD cards.

Data

Data preparation is not required for this operation.

Tools

  • Electrostatic discharge (ESD) gloves.
  • Packing materials, for example, ESD bag.

Procedure

  1. Power off the CH225 V3. For details, see Powering Off the CH225 V3.
  2. Determine the microSD card to be removed.

    Figure 8-74 shows the numbering and positions of the microSD cards.

  3. Press the microSD card inwards and then release it. Remove the microSD card after it ejects, as shown in Figure 8-75.

  4. Place the removed microSD card in an ESD bag.
