Overview

Overview

This topic describes the CH225 V3 compute node in terms of the features, overall appearance, and installation positions.

Introduction

The CH225 V3 is a full-width storage expansion compute node based on Intel's next-generation Grantley platform and possesses powerful computing capabilities. The CH225 V3 supports a maximum of twelve 2.5-inch NVMe PCIe SSDs and two 2.5-inch SAS or SATA HDDs/SSDs, which support hot-swap. NVMe PCIe SSDs support scheduled hot-swap and do not support violence hot-swap.

CH225 V3s are installed in an E9000 chassis and managed by the MM910 management module in a centralized manner.

The CH225 V3 is a storage node suitable for scenarios requiring large storage capacity, high storage performance, and high computing performance, for example, HANA or Oracle appliance for analysis and processing of massive data.
