Checking the CH225 V3

Check the version and health status of the CH225 V3.

Scenarios

Check the version and health status of the CH225 V3. Ensure that its version and health status meets the environmental requirements for software installation.

You can use the following methods to check the version and health status of the CH225 V3 on the MM910:

  • Perform operations on the MM910 web user interface (WebUI). For details, see the following procedures.
  • Log in to the MM910 command-line interface (CLI), run the version command to check the version, and run the healthevents command to check the health status. For details, see the MM910 Management Module V100R001 Command Reference.

Prerequisites

Conditions

  • The CH225 V3 is powered on.
  • The MM910 is powered on.

Data

The following data is available:

  • User name for logging in to the MM910.
  • Password for logging in to the MM910.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the MM910 WebUI. For details, see Logging In to the MM910 WebUI.
  2. Check the version and health status of the CH225 V3.

    1. On the HMM Web page, click the compute node in a slot, and choose Version Information, as shown in Figure 5-2.

      Pay attention to the following information:

      • CPLD Version: indicates the CPLD version of the compute node.
      • Active iBMC Version: indicates the iBMC software version of the active working zone.
      • Backup iBMC Version: indicates the iBMC software version of the standby working zone.
    2. Check whether the CH225 V3 software versions are consistent with the data plan.
      • If yes, go to 2.d.
      • If not, go to 2.c.
    3. Upgrade the iBMC, BIOS, or CPLD. For details, see the E9000 Server V100R001 Upgrade Guide.
    4. On the HMM Web page, click the compute node in a slot, and choose Alarm List, as shown in Figure 5-3.

    5. Check whether alarms have been generated for the CH225 V3.
      • If yes, go to 2.f.
      • If no, no further action is required.
    6. Handle the alarms. For details, see E9000 Server V100R001 Alarm Handling.
