Configuring Basic Multicast Network Management Functions
After multicast network management is enabled, you can bind multicast management information bases (MIBs) to the public network instance and enable trap of a specified module. In this way, status of events on a specified protocol is monitored. Currently, the following MIBs are supported:
  • Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP)
  • MLD
  • PIM (IPv4 and IPv6)
  • Multicast Source Discovery Protocol (MSDP)
Adjusting the Frequency for Multicast Protocols to Send Trap Messages

Set the interval at which multicast protocols send trap messages so that you can monitor status of events on multicast protocols in a timely manner.
