SPR/4/SPR_STANDBY_UPDOWN: The SPR standby function [STRING1] the interface [STRING2].


SPR activates or shuts down the link of an interface.


Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
[STRING1] Indicates the action taken by SPR on an interface:
  • shuts down: SPR shuts down the interface.
  • activate: SPR activates the interface.
[STRING2] Interfaces the interface name.

Possible Causes

After the function that automatically shuts down an interface when SPR does not select the link of the interface is configured, the interface is automatically shut down after the timeout time expires if SPR does not select the interface. When the CMIs of all the links in SPR are smaller than the threshold, SPR activates the shutdown interface to re-establish a connection to participate in SPR link selection.
