PPPoE/4/LINK_STATE:The line protocol [line-protocol] on the interface [interface-name] has entered the [state] state.

Description

The online and offline status of a PPPoE user changed.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
[line-protocol] Link layer protocol name.
[interface-name] Interface name.
[state] Link layer protocol status:

1. UP: indicates that the link layer protocol status of the interface is Up.

2. DOWN: indicates that the link layer protocol status of the interface is Down.

Possible Causes

The status of a PPPoE user changed.

Procedure

  1. This log message is informational only, and no action is required. You can run the pppoe-server log enable command to enable logging for status change of PPPoE users.
