Possible Causes
Enabling the LLDP globally fails because obtaining the port information fails or the memory is insufficient.
Procedure
- Wait for a few minutes and run the lldp enable command in the system view again.
(1) If the LLDP is enabled successfully, ignore this log. The problem is solved.
(2) If the LLDP is not enabled successfully, go to step 2.
- If the LLDP is not enabled successfully, run the display
device command to check whether the currently registered board is
in the normal status.
(1) If not normal, rectify the board fault, and then enable the LLDP again.
(a) If the LLDP is enabled successfully, the problem is solved. End.
(b) If the LLDP is not enabled successfully, go to step 3.
(2) If normal, go to step 3.
- Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
