Description
The
CHAP authentication function became ineffective on the peer device functioning as the authenticated device. As a result, the peer device failed to pass the authentication and the PPP link was disconnected.

Possible Causes
The local device is the authenticating device and has CHAP authentication configured. However, CHAP authentication is not configured on the peer device functioning as the authenticated device.
Procedure
