Possible Causes
The link layer protocol on the MFR interface became Down because the negotiation of all the bound links failed.
Procedure
- Run the display mfr command to check whether the MFR interface is bound to a physical interface.
- Run the display interface command to check whether the physical interface to which the MFR interface is bound is Up.
- Run the display interface command to check whether parameters (for example, the clock mode) of the physical interface match those of the remote interface.
- If the preceding check results are correct but the fault persists, contact technical support personnel.
