Parameter Name Parameter Meaning


Log ID


User name that is used to perform the update operation.

For scheduled update, SystemTimer is displayed for this parameter. If the system cannot obtain the user name, ** is displayed.


IP address of the user that performs the update operation.

If the system cannot obtain the IP address, ** is displayed.


Update module, which can be:

  • IPS-SDB: IPS signature database
  • SA-SDB: SA signature database
  • CNC: malicious domain name database


Update status, which can be:
  • manual-update: manual update
  • auto-update: automatic update


Duration for downloading the signature database, in seconds


Causes of the downloading failure, including:

  1. Failed to perform DNS resolution.
  2. Connecting to the security server failed.
  3. The update service of components expires.
  4. The update service is not activated.
  5. Failed to verify the update file.
  6. The current update request is terminated.
  7. Disconnected from the update server.
  8. Online update init error.
  9. The free space of the storage card is insufficient.
  10. The storage card is not in position or formatted.
  11. No signature database is available.
  12. Failed to perform DNS of the download server.
  13. Connecting to the download server failed.
  14. The proxy server authentication failed.
  15. Failed to perform DNS of the proxy server.
  16. Connecting to the proxy server failed.

Suggestions for rectifying the signature database loading fault:

  1. Check the Internet settings and try again later.
  2. Check the Internet settings and try again later.

  4. Purchase the upgrade service.
  5. Download the upgrade file again.
  6. Confirm the operation of terminating the upgrade.
  7. Check the network condition.
