Log ID


Update module, which can be:

  • IPS-SDB: IPS signature database
  • SA-SDB: SA signature database
  • CNC: malicious domain name database

Slot ID of the engine


CPU ID of the engine


Version of the loaded module


Loading duration, in seconds


Causes of the loading failure, including:

  • The engine is busy.
  • The update package is invalid.
  • The compilation failed.
  • The engine is in compilation.
  • The engine is abnormal.
  • The memory is insufficient.
  • The update service is not activated.
  • The update service of components expires.
  • The free space of the storage card is insufficient.
  • Failed to parse the signature database.
  • No SDB version is available for loading.

Possible Causes

The possible cause is displayed in the reason field in the log.


  1. Rectify the signature database loading fault as follows:

    • Check the engine status.
    • Use a valid signature database file to try again.
    • Try again later.
    • Wait for another automatic update or use commands to force an update.
    • Purchase the signature database update service.
    • Renew the update service expiration date.
    • Clear invalid files on the CF card.
    • Use a valid signature database file for the update.
    • Update the signature database file.

  2. If the problem persists, contact Huawei technical support engineers.
