Description
DCE LMI negotiation failed because the status request packet of the interface timed out.
Possible Causes
When the LMI status request packet of the DCE timed out and the negotiation failed, this log message was generated.
Procedure
- Run the display interface command to check whether the FR interface is Up.
- Run the display interface command to check whether parameters (for example, the clock mode) of the FR interface match those of the remote interface.
- Run the display interface command to check whether the frame format of the FR interface is the same as that of the remote interface.
- Run the display fr lmi-info command to check whether the LMI protocol type, N392 parameter, and N393 parameter of the FR interface match those of the remote interface.
- If the preceding check results are correct but the fault persists, contact technical support personnel.
