Possible Causes
This log message was generated when the current source reference clock was lost because of some reasons and no candidate reference clock can be found.
Procedure
- Check whether the network is normal.
- Run the display ntp-service sessions command to check whether candidate reference clocks exist.
- If candidate reference clocks exist, perform Step 3.
- If candidate reference clocks does not exist, run the ntp-service unicast-peer ip-address command or the ntp-service unicast-server ip-address command to configure the source reference clock.
- Run the display ntp-service status command
to check whether the server status is stable.
- If the server status is stable, perform Step 4.
- If the server status is unstable, perform Step 5.
- Run the display clock command to check
whether the system clock is normal.
- If the clock of the hardware is normal, perform Step 6.
- If the clock of the hardware is abnormal, perform Step 5.
- Contact Huawei technical support personnel.
