EnabledStatus

Read-write

The value of this object identifies whether IPv4 multicast is enabled on a router:

  • 1: enabled
  • 2: disabled

This object is implemented as defined in the corresponding MIB files.

When the Get operation is performed for this scalar, only the status of IPv4 multicast can be queried. Whether IPv6 multicast is enabled is not considered. If IPv4 multicast is enabled, the value enabled (1) is returned; if IPv4 multicast is disabled, the value disabled (2) is returned.

When the Set operation is performed for this scalar but the mib-binding command is not run on the router (that is, the multicast MIB is bound to only public network instances), both IPv4 multicast and IPv6 multicast are enabled or disabled in the public network; if the mib-binding command is run on the router to bind the multicast MIB with the VPN instance, only IPv4 multicast VPN is enabled or disabled when the Set operation is performed since the system does not support IPv6 multicast VPN.
