Creation Restriction

The creation restrictions are as follows:
  • The hwTACACSServerGroupName must already exist.
  • Before creating or modifying hwtacacs-group attributes, create an HWTACACS template first. A maximum of 32 HWTACACS server templates can be created.
  • The IP addresses of the primary server and secondary server cannot be the same, but the ports of the servers can be the same.
  • Before configuring ports for the authentication, authorization, and accounting servers, configure the IP addresses first.

Modification Restriction

The modification restrictions are as follows:

  • Only the templates not in use can be modified.
  • The IP addresses of the primary server and secondary server cannot be the same, but the ports of the servers can be the same.
  • Before configuring ports for the authentication, authorization, and accounting servers, configure the IP addresses first.

Deletion Restriction

The HWTACACS templates referenced by domains cannot be deleted. To delete a referenced HWTACACS template, unbind it from the domain first.
