Read-create

Indicates whether the particular virtual circuit is operational. In the absence of a Data Link Connection Management Interface, virtual circuit entries (rows) may be created by setting virtual circuit state to 'active', or deleted by changing Circuit state to 'invalid'. Whether or not the row actually disappears is left to the implementation, so this object may actually read as 'invalid' for some arbitrary length of time. It is also legal to set the state of a virtual circuit to 'inactive' to temporarily disable a given circuit.

Currently, the maximum access is Read-only.

If the configured committed burst rate and throughput are both non-zero, the measurement interval T=frCircuitCommittedBurst/frCircuitThroughput.If the configured committed burst rate and throughput are both zero, the measurement in- terval T=frCircuitExcessBurst/ifSpeed.This object cannot be set because of structure and implementation limitations.

Creation Restriction

This table does not support the SET operation. When a VC is created, this table is generated automatically.

Modification Restriction

The entries in this table can be modified.

Deletion Restriction

The entries in this table cannot be deleted. When the VC is torn down, this table is automatically deleted.

Accessing Restriction

The entries in this table can be read without restriction.
