(Optional) Configuring VLAN ID Transparent Transmission


By default, an outbound interface of a bridge group removes the VLAN IDs of the packets to be sent out. After VLAN ID transparent transmission is configured on an outbound interface of a bridge group, the outbound interface does not remove the VLAN IDs of the packets to be sent out.


  1. Run:


    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run:

    interface interface-type interface-number

    The interface view is displayed.

  3. Run:

    bridge vlan-transmit enable

    VLAN ID transparent transmission is enabled.

    • VLANIF interfaces do not support VLAN ID transparent transmission.

    • It is not recommended to use the VLAN ID transparent transmission for sub-interfaces.

  4. Run:


    Return to the system view.
