WWAN/5/WWAN_RSSI_WEAK: The 2G/3G signal of interface [interface-name] become weak, RSSI= [RSSI] dBm.

The strength of 3G signals received by a cellular interface became weak.

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
[interface-name] Cellular interface name.
[RSSI] Received signal strength indicator (RSSI).

Possible Causes

On a WCDMA or CDMA2000 network, if the strength of received 3G signals is not greater than the SINR threshold 10 consecutive times, and the signal strength becomes weak, the device records this log.

By default, the RSSI threshold used to determine the 3G signal strength is -89 dBm.

  1. Check whether the network environment is normal.
  2. Check whether the antenna is properly connected.
