Description

The threshold-crossing event occurred on the EOAM 3AH module.

Parameters

EventLogIndex Indicates the index of an event.
EventLogTimestamp Indicates the time when the event occurs.
EventLogOui Indicates the unique identifier of a manufacturer.
EventLogType Indicates the log type.
EventLogLocation Indicates the location (1 indicates local end, 2 indicates peer end) of the event.
EventLogWindowHi Indicates the higher 4-byte interval.
EventLogWindowLo Indicates the lower 4-byte interval.
EventLogThresholdHi Indicates the higher 4-byte threshold.
EventLogThresholdLo Indicates the lower 4-byte threshold.
EventLogValue Indicates the number of errors within the interval (error frames or error codes).
EventLogRunningTotal Indicates the total number of errors after OAM is reset.
EventLogEventTotal Indicates the total number of threshold-crossing events after OAM is reset.

Possible Causes

The events of error frames, error frame seconds, and error codes were detected. The number of link faults reached the set threshold within the set interval.

Procedure

  1. Check the link and the environment, and analyze the cause of excessive error frames and error codes.
