Ensure that the server and BIOS supports hot plug.

Only SSDs for data storage can be hot-plugged. Do not hot-plug SSDs running OSs.

The following OSs support hot plug of the ES3000 V3:

    • CentOS: 6.6, 6.7, 6.8, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2
