The UniformView feature of the OceanStor 9000 can centrally monitor remote devices in a flexible and efficient manner, meeting remote surveillance requirements of different industries including transportation, water conservancy, oilfield, banking, and telecommunications.

Centralized Monitoring and Unified Management of Scattered Surveillance Sites

Video surveillance sites are getting more and more scattered across regions with the development of network technologies. These scattered sites require centralized monitoring and unified management.

The OceanStor 9000 provides the UniformView feature. After installing a UniformView client, you can use NFS to mount cross-regional storage systems to the UniformView client. The video monitoring platform accesses the shared files of different storage domains through directories mounted to UniformView. UniformView simplifies mounting operations and implements centralized monitoring. Moreover, a UniformView client can only read the shared directories. In this way, video data cannot be modified and data security is ensured.
