How Do I View Historical Operation Records?

How Do I View Historical Operation Records?

You can view historical operation records using either of the following methods:

  • Method 1: Run the display history-command [ all-users ] command in any view to view historical commands saved on the current terminal.

The display history-command command displays a maximum of 10 historical commands.

The display history-command all-users command can be executed only by administrators and display a maximum of 200 historical commands.

  • Method 2: Use arrow keys or shortcut keys.

    • To view the last historical command, use the Up arrow key or Ctrl+P.

If there is an earlier historical command, the earlier historical command is displayed.

    • To view the next historical command, use the Down arrow key or Ctrl+N.

If there is a later historical command, the later historical command is displayed.

You cannot access historical commands using the Up arrow key on the HyperTerminal in Windows 9X. The Up arrow key has a different function in Windows 9X. You can use the shortcut key Ctrl+P to view historical commands.
