change service ndmp_config

Function

The change service ndmp_config command is used to change NDMP configuration.

Format

change service ndmp_config { is_enabled=? | port=? | ip=? | restore_quota=? | support_snapshot=? | ignore_ctime=? } *

Parameters

Value

is_enabled=? Whether enable the NDMP service.

The value is yes or no.

  • yes:Enable NDMP service.
  • no:Disable NDMP service.
port=? Listening port for NDMP.

The value ranges from 10000 to 10099.

ip=? Listening IP for NDMP.

restore_quota=? The quota of restoring to file system.

The value ranges from 0 to 100.

support_snapshot=? Parameter used to decide whether to support snapshot on file system. This command can only be executed in developer mode. For details about how to log in to developer mode, see Restricted Command Reference.

The value is yes or no.

  • yes:Support snapshot.
  • no:Not support snapshot.
ignore_ctime=? Whether ignore the ctime for backup.

the value is yes or no.

  • yes:Ignore ctime.
  • no:Consider ctime.

Usage Guidelines

1.At least one parameter must be specified.

2.The "is_enabled" parameter is used to start the NDMP service and is mutually exclusive with all other parameters.

3.This command does not support OceanStor 2200 V3 storage system.

Example

  • To change NDMP configuration, run the following command.

    admin:/>change service ndmp_config port=10000 ip=192.168.0.1 restore_quota=95 ignore_ctime=no
    Command executed successfully.
  • To change NDMP configuration, run the following command.

    admin:/>change service ndmp_config is_enabled=yes
    Command executed successfully.
     
  • To close NDMP configurations, run the following command.

    admin:/>change service ndmp_config is_enabled=no
    WARNING:You are about to disable the NDMP service. This operation causes the NDMP service provided by the storage device unavailable. 
    Suggestion: Before performing this operation, ensure that the NDMP service is no longer needed.
