change service cifs_config

Function

The change service cifs_config command is used to change the shared configuration of a CIFS protocol.

Format

change service cifs_config { communication_thread_number=? | work_thread_number=? | max_block_size=? | { permit_listen_ip=? | deny_listen_ip=? } | { permit_client=? | deny_client=? } } *

communication_thread_number=? -

The value is an integer between 1 and 128.

work_thread_number=? -

The value is an integer between 1 and 128.

max_block_size=? -

The value is an integer between 65536 and 1,048,576.

permit_listen_ip=? -

A maximum of 31 IP addresses can be entered. Separate IP addresses with a comas (,). Enter an asterisk (*) to add all IP addresses to the white list.

deny_listen_ip=? -

A maximum of 31 IP addresses can be entered. Separate IP addresses with a comas (,). Enter an asterisk (*) to add all IP addresses to the blacklist.

permit_client=? -

Enter an asterisk to add all clients to the white list.

deny_client=? -

A maximum of 31 IP addresses can be entered. Separate IP addresses with a comas (,).

Usage Guidelines

  • deny_listen_ip and permit_listen_ip are mutually exclusive.
  • permit_client and deny_client are mutually exclusive.

This command does not support OceanStor 2200 V3 storage system.

Example

  • To query the shared configuration of a CIFS before it is modified, run the following command.

    admin:/>show service cifs_config
    Communication Thread Number : 4
    Work Thread Number : 4
    Max Block Size(byte) : 131072
    Listen IP : permit *
    Client List : permit *
  • To change the maximum number of worker threads allowed by a share, run the following command.

    admin:/>change service cifs_config work_thread_number=4
    Command executed successfully
  • To change the MTU, run the following command.

    admin:/>change service cifs_config max_block_size=130048
    Command executed successfully
  • To change the blacklist of listening IP addresses, run the following command.

    admin:/>change service cifs_config deny_listen_ip=192.168.1.1
    Command executed successfully.
  • To change the blacklist of client IP addresses, run the following command.

    admin:/>change service cifs_config deny_client=192.168.1.1
    Command executed successfully
  • To change the number of CIFS communication threads, run the following command.

    admin:/>change service cifs_config communication_thread_number=6
    Command executed successfully
  • To query the shared configuration of a CIFS after it is modified, run the following command.

    admin:/>show service cifs_config
    Communication Thread Number : 6
    Work Thread Number : 4
    Max Block Size(byte) : 130048
    Listen IP : deny 192.168.1.1
    Client List : deny 192.168.1.1
