Function

The delete resource_group command is used to delete a resource group.

Format

delete resource_group { name=? | group_id=? }

Parameters

Value

name=? The name of resource group.

The value consists of 1 to 32 characters, and cannot contain spaces, control character or any of the following special characters: /\[]:;|=,+*?<>@. The last character cannot be a period (.).

group_id=? The ID of resource group.

The value ranges from 0 to 900,000.

This command does not support OceanStor 2200 V3 storage system.

Example

  • To delete a resource group, run the following command.

    admin:/>delete resource_group group_id=100001
    WARNING:You are going to delete resource group.This operation may cause access exceptions.
    Suggestion:Before you perform this operation, determine whether the delete is necessary.
    Have you read warning message carefully?(y/n)y
    Are you sure you really want to perform the operation?(y/n)y
    Command executed successfully.
  • To delete a resource group, run the following command.

    admin:/>delete resource_group name=group2
