change ssl_certificate passphrase


The change ssl_certificate passphrase command is used by customers to replace the private key encryption password of the DeviceManager.


change ssl_certificate passphrase [ cert_type=? ]





cert_type=? Service type of the certificate.

The value is "device_management".

Usage Guidelines

  • This command provides an interactive mode for entering passwords. When you are entering a password, it is displayed behind asterisks.
  • The password consists of 8 to 24 characters and is case-sensitive.
  • The password must contain special characters including ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + \ | [ { } ] ; : ' " , < . > / ? and spaces.
  • The password must meet password complexity requirements.
  • The password must contain lowercase letters, uppercase letters, and digits.
  • The password must be different from the user name and mirror writing of the username.
  • One character must not appear for more than three times consecutively.
The digital certificates and private keys of all controllers must be replaced one by one.


Replace the private key encryption password of the DeviceManager.

admin:/>change ssl_certificate passphrase cert_type=device_management
