Deleting an eDevLUN

Deleting an eDevLUN

This operation enables you to remove unwanted eDevLUNs to reclaim the storage resources.


  • Services on the eDevLUN have been stopped, and no value-added feature is configured for the eDevLUN.
  • The eDevLUN is not added to any LUN group.


  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose Provisioning > LUN.
  3. Select the eDevLUN you want to delete and click Delete.

    The security alert dialog box is displayed.

  4. Confirm the eDevLUN deletion.
    1. Carefully read the content of the dialog box. Then click the check box next to the statement I have read and understand the consequences associated with performing this operation. to confirm the information.
    2. Click OK.

      The Execution Result dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation succeeded.

    3. Click Close.
