When the local storage system has no service loads, it cannot set the remote LUN and eDevLUN to be in the faulty state based on I/O error statistics. If the external LUN malfunctions when the local storage system is processing I/O loads, the local storage system automatically updates the status of the external LUN and set the remote LUN and eDevLUN to be in the faulty state.
