Connecting Cables to a Mouse, Keyboard, and VGA Port

Preparations

  • Precautions

The front panel of the central management enclosure (CME) provides a DB15 video graphics array (VGA) port but has no standard PS/2 port for connecting to a keyboard or mouse. You can connect a keyboard and mouse to USB ports on the front panel based on site installation conditions.

    There are two connection methods:

    • Connect a USB keyboard and mouse to USB ports on the CME directly.
    • Connect a keyboard and mouse to a USB port on the CME using a USB-to-PS/2 cable.
