Alarm message:

System has no available memory. Error code: 0xXXXX.

This alarm is generated when there is no available memory during the server startup process.

The event type is: System

Indicates the alarm source.


Indicates the event body for which an alarm is generated.


Indicates the time when an alarm is generated.

Impact on the System

Server performance is affected.

Possible Causes

  • The server has no DIMMs installed.
  • The DIMM layout does not comply with the configuration rules.


  1. Check whether there are other memory alarms generated.

  2. Clear the memory alarms. Then check whether this alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to Step 3.

  3. Power off the server and check whether there are DIMMs installed for the CPU.

  4. Check whether the DIMMs are installed in correct slots.

    For details about DIMM installation positions, see the KunLun 90XX V100R001 User Guide.

  5. Install the DIMMs in correct slots. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to Step 7.

  6. Install DIMMs and power on the server. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to Step 7.

  7. Contact Huawei technical support.
