A node interconnect (NI) cable is not connected or not properly connected to the basic partition unit (BPU).

Procedure

  1. Check whether an NI cable is connected to the BPU. For details, see the KunLun 90xx V100R001 User Guide.

  2. Connect an NI cable to the BPU. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to Step 3.

  3. Check whether the NI cable is properly connected to the BPU.

  4. Remove and reconnect the NI cable. (For details, see the KunLun 90xx V100R001 User Guide.) Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to Step 5.

  5. Contact Huawei technical support.

Clearing

After the fault is rectified, the system automatically clears the alarm.
