Event Code

Impact on the System

The physical partition cannot start.

Possible Causes

The basic input/output systems (BIOSs) of all basic partition units (BPUs) in the physical partition are not upgraded to the same version.

  1. Upgrade the BIOSs of all BPUs in the physical partition to the same version, and ensure that the upgrades are successful. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If yes, no further action is required.
    • If no, go to Step 2.

  2. Contact Huawei technical support.

This alarm is automatically cleared when the firmware versions of the active and standby CMCs are consistent.

If the BIOSs are upgraded, there is a possibility that a BIOS version inconsistency alarm is generated during the power-on for the first time. The possibility increases when the processors of physical partitions become greater, such as 8, 16, and 32 processors. Ignore this alarm because it will be automatically cleared after 1 minute.
