Installing an FC Card Driver on Linux
Procedure
- Download a Linux FC card driver from the official QLOGIC website. For example, click the link (using RHEL 6.7 as an example) in the red box in Figure 17-14.
- Copy the driver installation package to the server and run the tar command to decompress the installation package, as shown in Figure 17-15.
- Go to the extras directory and run the command shown in Figure 17-16 to add permissions of the build.sh file.
- Change from the extras directory to the driver root directory, and run the ./extras/build.sh install command, as shown in Figure 17-17.
