Installing the Intel NIC Driver
Prerequisites
Do not connect the network cable of the Intel NIC before you upgrade the NIC driver. Connect the network cable only after you upgrade the Intel NIC driver.
Procedure
- Download the latest NIC driver (driver for NIC 1350, as an example) from the Intel website https://downloadcenter.intel.com/zh-cn/download/21694/-Windows-2012-.Figure 9-16 Intel NIC driver download page
- Transfer the downloaded NIC driver file to the server and double-click the driver file to install it. See Figure 9-17.
- Click Next. See Figure 9-18.
- Select I accept the terms in the license agreement and click Next. See Figure 9-19.
- Select the driver and click Next. See Figure 9-20.
- Click Install to start the installation. See Figure 9-21.
- Click Finish. See Figure 9-22.
The same method applies to drivers of NICs I350, 82599, X540, and 82580.
