Adding a Kernel Parameter
Procedure
- Right-click the desktop and select Terminal from the shortcut menu, or connect the server over SSH, and then open the /boot/efi/EFI/redhat/grub.conf file, as shown in Figure 2-33.
- Add nowatchdog nosoftlockup rcupdate.rcu_cpu_stall_timeout=600 rcupdate.rcu_cpu_stall_suppress=1 crashkernel=768M console=tty0 console=ttyS0,115200 to the file, delete quiet, as shown in Figure 2-34.
- Run the reboot command to restart the server to make the modification take effect.
