Configuring SOL on RHEL 6.x
Procedure
- On the GUI, right-click the mouse, and connect the server through the terminal or over SSH.
- Run the vi /boot/efi/EFI/redhat/grub.cfg command. The file name is grub.conf in some OS versions.
- In the line that contains GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX, delete rhgb quiet and add console=tty0 console=ttyS0,115200, save the file and exit, as shown in Figure 16-13.
- Run the reboot command to restart the server for the added kernel parameter to take effect.
