Installing an FC Card Driver on Windows
Procedure
- Download a Windows FC card driver from the official QLOGIC website. For example, click the link in the red box in Figure 17-18.
- Decompress the driver installation package and copy the folder to the server, as shown in Figure 17-19.
- Open Device Manager, find the FC card, right-click a port, and choose Update Driver Software from the shortcut menu, as shown in Figure 17-20.
- Click Browse my computer for driver software, as shown in Figure 17-21.
- Click Browse and select the folder where the driver software is located, as shown in Figure 17-22.
- Click Next, as shown in Figure 17-23.
- After the installation is complete, click Close, as shown in Figure 17-24.
- Perform the preceding operations for each port.
