What Do I Do If the System Enters Emergency Console?
Emergency console is a new rescue mode in Linux.
Symptom
There is a low probability that the system enters in to the emergency console mode, as shown in Figure 3-40.
Cause Analysis
If the system is faulty and cannot be started, the system enters the emergency console mode automatically.
Solution
- In this mode, enter the password of the root user.
- Run the systemctl default command to revert to the normal mode.
If the problem cannot be solved, check whether hard disks or partitions have faults.
