Uninstalling Local Software on RHEL
Procedure
- The yum remove and yum groupremove commands can be used to uninstall software or software group. Open the terminal and run the yum grouplist command to view the installed software in the Installed Groups and Installed Language Groups field.Figure 18-9 Installed software
- Run the yum groupremove "Venda support" command to uninstall Venda support and enter y to confirm the package deletion.
The software is automatically uninstalled, as shown in Figure 18-10.
