Uninstalling Local Software on SLES
Procedure
- Open the terminal and run the yast2 command. On the displayed page, double-click Software Management, as shown in Figure 18-14.
- On the Search tab page of Software Management, search for installed software, and select software to be uninstalled, as shown in Figure 18-15.
- Choose Package > Delete and select the software to be deleted, as shown in Figure 18-16.
- Confirm the software uninstallation, as shown in Figure 18-17.
- On the RPM Groups tab page of Software Management, select a software group to uninstall the software in the group, for example, in the C and C++ group, as shown in Figure 18-18.
- Choose Package > Delete to delete a software group, as shown in Figure 18-19.
