This document describes the configuration and maintenance of device through the web network management system. The web network management system provides the functions of viewing device information and managing the entire system, interfaces, services, ACL, QoS, routes, security, and tools.

The following sections help you understand the Web system client user interface and improve your operation efficiency.

Window Layout

This section describes the layout and style of the Web system client GUI.

Figure 2-19 shows a typical operation user interface of the Web system.

Navigation Tree

The navigation tree consists of ten nodes: Device Summary, Configuration Wizard, System Management, Interface Management, Service Management, ACL, QoS, IP Routing, Security and Tools.

Each node has subnodes, as described in Table 2-8.


The menus in the navigation tree vary depending on switch models.

Device Summary


Displays information about the device panel.

System Description

Displays the product type, software version, and hardware version of the switch.

Switch Status

Displays the current fan status, CPU usage, memory usage, and temperature of theswitch.

Bandwidth Utilization

Displays the bandwidth utilization of the interface.

System Log

Displays the latest five logs.

Configuration Wizard


Helps quickly configure global Easy-Operation parameters to implement basic functions for Easy-Operation.

System Management


Restores the factory settings of the switch.


Chooses the system software, configuration file, and patch file for next startup of the switch.

Software Upgrade

Upgrades the software of the switch.


Loads the patch file to the switch .

File System Management

Manages files, including uploading files to the switch, downloading files from the switch, and restoring or permanently deleting files in the recycle bin.

System Configuration

Sets the system information such as system time and maintenance information.


Configures and displays global PoE information and PoE on interfaces.


Configures and displays dynamic DNS entries, DNS server, domain name suffix, and dynamic domain name resolution function.


Configures and displays the stacking function.

Log Management

Allows you to view operation logs.


Configures the SNMP functions, including SNMP global settings, community/group management, MIB view, and trap setting.


Configures roles, groups, and clients to implement Easy-Operation.

IP Management

Configures management VLAN.

Device Management

Displays restart records and electronic labels of devices.

Interface Management


Configures and displays basic attributes of interfaces and traffic statistics on the interfaces.


Configures and displays Eth-Trunk interfaces and LACP priority.


Configures and displays VLANIF interfaces.


Configures and displays the LoopBack interfaces.

Service Management


Configures and displays VLANs, interfaces, and VLANIF interfaces.


Configures and displays MAC address table, MAC address aging time, MAC address learning function, static MAC address entries, blackhole MAC address entries, and sticky MAC function.


Configures and displays global STP information, STP on interfaces, and domains.

Voice VLAN

Configures and displays voice VLAN and OUI.


Configures and displays DHCP global address pool, address pool on VLANIF interface, and DHCP relay.


Configures and displays ARP entries, static ARP entries, and ARP parameters.


Configures and displays VRRP information.

IGMP Snooping

Configures and displays global IGMP information and IGMP snooping of VLANs.


Effective Period

Configures and displays the ACL effective period.


Configures and displays ACL information.


Configures and displays HTTP ACL.


Traffic Management

Configures and displays the traffic classifier-based QoS function, including traffic classification, traffic behavior, traffic policy, and application of traffic policy.

Rate Limiting

Configures and displays the interface rate limiting function.

Traffic Shaping

Configures and displays the traffic shaping function.

Congestion Management

Configures and displays congestion management on interfaces.

Priority Mapping

Configures and displays the priority mapping and trusted interface functions.

IP Routing

IPv4 Route

Configures and displays IPv4 routes, including IPv4 static routes and global IPv4 routing information.

IPv6 Route

Configures and displays IPv6 routes, including IPv6 static routes and global IPv6 routing information.


Port isolation

Configures and displays isolation mode and isolation directions.


Configures and displays the security functions, including authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA), service templates, RADIUS configurations, domain management, user management and change mode.


Configures and displays global 802.1X parameters and 802.1X parameters on interfaces.

MAC Authen

Configures and displays global MAC address authentication and MAC address authentication on interfaces.

Storm Control

Configures and displays storm control and traffic suppression.

Configures and displays dhcp snooping.



Provides the ping function.


Provides the tracert function.


Provides the VCT function.

One-Click Information Collection

Enables you to collect device information including configurations, logs, and errors by one click.


The buttons that you usually use on the Web system GUI are described in this section.

Table 2-9 describes the buttons and functions.
