HTTP ACL

HTTP ACL

After the HTTPS access control list (ACL) is configured, only the specified client can log in to the switch through web. This function improves system security.

Context

When a switch functions as an HTTPS server, you can configure an ACL on the switch to allow only the specified clients to log in to the switch through HTTPS. This function improves system security.

Procedure

  • Configure an ACL for the HTTPS server.
    1. Choose ACL > HTTP ACL in the navigation tree to open the HTTP ACL page, as shown in Figure 2-160.

    2. Click Select ACL to open the Select ACL page, as shown in Figure 2-161.

    3. Select an ACL and click OK.
    4. Click Apply.
  • Delete the ACL of the HTTPS server.
    1. Choose ACL > HTTP ACL in the navigation tree to open the HTTP ACL page.
    2. Click Clear Configuration.
