Application Planning

This section describes the application planning of InfoScanner to perform antivirus management for files in shared directories.

Table 8-8 lists data that needs to be planned before configuring InfoScanner based on the preceding requirements analysis.

Data in Table 8-8 is for reference only. Plan data based on onsite requirements.

Rising

IP addresses of the antivirus servers

Used for communication between antivirus servers and OceanStor 9000. The front-end service network of OceanStor 9000, antivirus servers, and AD domain servers are interconnected.
  • The IP address of AntivirusServer1 is 192.168.1.101.
  • The IP address of AntivirusServer2 is 192.168.1.102.

Antivirus server port ID

Communication port for providing the antivirus service

By default, the port IDs of AntivirusServer1 and AntivirusServer2 are both 26810. You are advised not to change them.

Scan authentication users

Scan authentication users are AD domain users and need to be added to AntivirusGroup (default local authentication user group in OceanStor 9000).
NOTE:
When the antivirus switch is enabled, scan authentication users can access storage resources in OceanStor 9000 without being authenticated, namely, they have full control.

Hot data directory

Directory Business that stores hot data is susceptible to viruses due to frequent operations. Therefore, real-time scan applies to directory Business.

Cold data directory

Directory Storage that stores cold data will be archived regularly. Therefore, periodic scan applies to directory Storage.

  • Default is configured for the Business directory. Scan is performed all the day.
  • strategy1 is configured for the Storage directory. The scan period is during off-peak hours.
