Customer Requirements

A financial organization needs to store some critical files (securities document). The files must be read at any time and cannot be modified or deleted.

The specific requirements are as follows:

  • The retention period of the files is 70 years. The files can be deleted after the retention period expires.
  • Files of each day automatically enter the Locked state.
  • If files enter the Locked state by mistake, the files can be deleted only by the archive administrator.

InfoLocker is the best solution to meet the requirements of the financial organization. Details of the solution are as follows:

  • During the retention period, data cannot be modified or deleted. After the retention period expires, data can be deleted.
  • Set the retention period to 70 years.
  • Set the interval for automatic lockup to 24 hours. The files submitted each day enter the Locked state the next day.
  • Locked files can only be deleted using the super administrator account.
