Viewing Quota Properties

Viewing Quota Properties

This operation allows you to view quota properties and used quota information.

  • You have logged in to the DeviceManager as an administrator that has the permission to view the quota properties. The following administrators have the permission:
    • Super administrator
    • Resource administrator
    • Administrator
    • Read-only user
  • At least one quota has been created.

  • The capacity of the used quota does not contain capacity of the pre-assignment.
  • A quota can be divided into one of the following types:
    • Associated quota: quota automatically created for a specific directory when a user visits the directory for the first time and only default quota is created in advance, and the user does not have other manually created the same type quota items.
    • Manual quota: quota created manually for a specific user and directory.

  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Choose Provisioning > InfoAllocator > Quota Management.
  3. In the quota list, select the quota whose properties you want to view and click Properties.

    • By entering the name of a user or user group and click Search, you can view quotas of the searched user or user group.
    • When a local user or local user group for which a quota has been created is deleted, the user type of the quota displays the user UID or user group GID but not the user or user group name. The UID or GID is automatically created during the creation of the user or user group.
    • When a domain user or domain user group is deleted for which a quota has been created or is unable to be queried because the network is not smooth between the system and domain control server, the domain user or user group name will display because of the system cache. When the system cache is cleared, for example, the device is restarted, the domain user UID or domain user group GID will display.

  4. In Quota Properties, view quota properties.
